In a thrilling encounter at the 29th All India JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament 2024, held at Dhruv Pandav Stadium, Patiala, Baroda CA secured a convincing 7-wicket victory over CSCS. Baroda chased down the target in just 41.3 overs.
Having won the toss, CSCS had posted a challenging total of 242 runs on the board. However, Baroda’s openers, Arya Pagar and Pratyush Kumar, gave their team a solid start. Pagar scored a fluent 59, while Kumar contributed 32 runs. Mohit Mongia departed early for just 9 runs. But it was the unbeaten knocks of P Kohli (74) and captain S Desai (40) that sealed the victory for Baroda.
For CSCS, Dev Aditya Singh, captain A Morya, and Manraj Singh Dhillon picked up one wicket each, conceding 42, 25, and 36 runs respectively.
