BECC Patiala Clinches Hot Weather Trophy with Thrilling One-Run Victory Over SCA Sonipat

In a nail-biting finish to the three-match Hot Weather Trophy series, BECC Patiala edged out SCA Sonipat by just one run in the final match to claim the title.
SCA Sonipat won the toss and chose to bowl first, restricting BECC Patiala to 102 for 9 in a 30-over match. Parmeet top-scored with 23, followed by Prabhashish (17) and Viraj (12). Aryan Bhalla took 2 wickets for 23, while Kanisk (1 for 15) and Prikshit Sharma (1 for 14) also contributed.
Chasing 103, SCA Sonipat fell agonizingly short at 101 for 8 in 30 overs. Divit Sharma led with 32, supported by Arjun Rathi (24) and Arju (14). BECC’s bowling attack was spearheaded by Harshift Singh (2 for 15), Viraj (2 for 23), and Prabhashish (1 for 4).

Divit Sharma from SCA Sonipat was named Best Batsman of the series, while BECC Patiala’s Harshift Singh earned Best Bowler honors, and Arunpreet Singh was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
