In the opening match of the 3-match Hot Weather Cup series, BECC Patiala secured a narrow 8-run victory over Sanklap Cricket Academy in a day-night encounter held yesterday at Mamchand Cricket Ground, Murthal, Sonipat.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, BECC Patiala posted 116 all out in a 35-over match, concluding at 33.3 overs. Key contributors included Athrava Tiwari (17), Arunpreet (16), and Viraj Singla (17), with Lovraj adding 12. Hrishit starred with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 18 runs, while Prikshit Saroha claimed 3 for 20.
