Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC), Patiala, lifted the CSF Trophy after defeating Adhya Cricket Academy (ACA), Agra by 74 runs in the decisive third match of the three-match series.
Match Summary (40-over contest)
BECC won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a challenging total of 225 for 3 in their 40 overs. Once again, the opening pair of Atharv Tiwari (63) and Viraj Singla (54) laid a solid foundation with a superb partnership. Useful contributions came from Prabhashish (23*) and Sanskar (15*).
In reply, ACA Agra started confidently, racing to 47 without loss. Openers Aarav Kurel (27) and Bhavya Jain (39) looked in complete control until the introduction of spin changed the complexion of the game. After their dismissals, none of the ACA batters could handle the BECC spinners effectively, except Nandini Sharma who fought hard for her 13 runs. ACA were bundled out for 151 in just 31.4 overs.
