In a one-sided affair at the Indian Army Grounds (BECC), Cap Patiala cruised to an easy victory over BECC in the ongoing triangular series.
BECC, winning the toss and electing to bat first, got off to a decent start with openers Varun Khatri (35) and Jasraj Singh (27) putting on a promising partnership. However, the middle order faltered, with Jasnoor Singh (33) being the lone bright spot. BECC were eventually bowled out for 161 runs in 40 overs. Karan (3/28) and Anhad (2/34) were the pick of the bowlers for Cap Patiala.
Chasing a modest target, Cap Patiala comfortably reached their goal in just 28 overs, losing only three wickets in the process. Sunny (28), Manveer (27), and Javin (48*) were the key contributors to the victory.
