“Wheels of Valour” Rally Reaches PPS Nabha – Inspires Youth Towards Armed Forces

Nabha, February 23

The motorcycle expedition “Wheels of Valour: Networking with Roots”, organised by the Indian Army’s Corps of Signals to mark its 116th Raising Day, arrived today at Punjab Public School (PPS), Nabha. This 14-day rally aims to motivate the youth, strengthen civil-military bonds, and foster dialogue with ex-servicemen and society at large.

The rally route covers key locations including Delhi, Hisar, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Meerut, and the border area of Fazilka. Led by Colonel Rajiv Kumar, the 18-member team includes three women officers, powerfully symbolising the growing role of women in the Indian Army and promoting women’s empowerment. Their presence sparked special enthusiasm and inspiration among the girl students at PPS Nabha.

During the programme held at PPS Nabha, the rally team interacted with students and provided detailed information on career opportunities in the armed forces, the importance of discipline, technical proficiency, and selfless service to the nation. The team actively encouraged the youth to contribute to nation-building and consider joining the Indian Army.

This campaign not only showcases the technical prowess and courage of the Corps of Signals but also serves as an excellent platform to awaken the younger generation to the call of national service.
