CWN Zirakpur U19 Women’s Team Triumphs Over Patiala XI in Friendly Match

Cricket With Nagesh Zirakpur (CWN) U19 Women’s team defeated Patiala XI by four wickets in a friendly match played at the Indian Army Ground (BECC) today.
Patiala XI, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, scored 153 all out in 36 overs. Jyoti Dara top-scored with 39 runs, followed by Shruti Yadav (31) and Prachi (30). Riya was the pick of the bowlers for CWN Zirakpur, taking 4 wickets for 26 runs. Yashika also contributed with 3 wickets for 19 runs, and Gaggan chipped in with 1 wicket for 2 runs.

Chasing a target of 154, CWN Zirakpur reached the total comfortably in just 26 overs, with 14 overs remaining. A crucial 66-run partnership between Jaiska (45) and Aashtha (18 not out) anchored the chase. Sanam also contributed 23 runs. Aashtha and Yashu took 2 wickets each for 22 and 23 runs respectively, while Dimple took 1 wicket.
Riya of CWN Zirakpur was declared the best performer of the match. Col. Anupreksha Dutta, the chief guest, presented the prizes to the players.
