CWZ Zirakpur emerged victorious in the 12th Little Champ Cup Tournament final after a compelling contest against ACA Amritsar.
ACA Amritsar won the toss and chose to field first. CWZ Zirakpur faced an early collapse, losing 7 wickets for just 47 runs. However, a remarkable recovery was orchestrated by Ateeb, who scored a brilliant 84 runs, supported by Saral’s valuable 53 runs. This partnership propelled Zirakpur to a respectable total of 198/8 in their allotted 35 overs. Rimzim also contributed 14 runs. Mayank (3/37) and Anash Maini (2/28) were the main wicket-takers for Amritsar.

In response, ACA Amritsar struggled against Zirakpur’s spin attack and were eventually bowled out for 114 runs in 29.2 overs. Vismaad (30 runs), Adarsh (18 runs), and Samarth (17 runs) were the notable contributors for Amritsar. Saral (2/23), Ateeb (2/6), and Kartikeya (2/10) were the standout bowlers for CWZ Zirakpur.

CWZ Zirakpur has won the Little Champs Cup tournament held at the grounds of the Black Elephant Cricket Club of the Indian Army in Patiala.
