Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), hailed this historic milestone as a victory for the Sikh community’s voice and the triumph of truth. He stated that Jaswant Singh Khalra’s courage in raising his voice for the disappeared youth in Punjab post-1984 will remain immortal. “The establishment of a school in his name reminds us of the Sikh legacy of sacrifice and moral values,” he added.
The dsgmc expressed gratitude to the institutions in the United States for honoring Jaswant Singh Khalra’s martyrdom and efforts. The committee pledged to continue initiatives to spread his teachings and ideals to the masses.
