Crucial ODI Series Ahead of Women’s World Cup
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has scheduled a three-match ODI series between the India Women’s team and Australia Women, set for September 2025. This series will serve as a critical preparatory platform for the Indian team ahead of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which India will host later in the year.

All three ODIs will be played at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on the following dates:
- First ODI: Sunday, September 14, 2025
- Second ODI: Wednesday, September 17, 2025
- Third ODI: Saturday, September 20, 2025

The Australia Men’s ‘A’ team will visit India in September-October 2025 for a series comprising two multi-day matches in Lucknow and three limited-overs games in Kanpur. Following this, the South Africa Men’s ‘A’ team will tour India in October-November 2025 for a comprehensive series, including two multi-day matches and three limited-overs fixtures, to be held in Bengaluru.
