Indian Fencing Team Heads to New Zealand for Commonwealth Championships

A talented team of young fencers has departed for New Zealand to represent India at the Junior and Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championships. The prestigious event will be held from July 12th to 19th in Christchurch.

The Indian contingent boasts several rising stars, meticulously chosen based on their stellar performances at the Cadet National Fencing Championship held in Gujarat. The team includes:

Tournament Details
Organized by the Commonwealth Fencing Federation, the championships will see fencers compete across three disciplines: Épée (Epée), Foil, and Sabre. Individual and Team events will be conducted following the official FIE (Fédération Internationale d’Escrime) rules. Athletes from various Commonwealth nations will be vying for glory in this exciting competition.
