Patiala city MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli today expressed delight and specially commended the Municipal Corporation General House for unanimously passing two important resolutions that were brought “out of agenda” (without being part of the pre-circulated agenda).
Speaking to the media, the MLA said he was extremely happy to share that the House has approved naming the newly constructed auditorium “Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Auditorium”.
In another significant decision, the General House unanimously passed a resolution to allot land in Raj Mata Mahinder Kaur Park for the construction of a Vishwakarma Community Hall.
MLA Kohli extended special thanks to Mayor Kundan Gogia for allowing discussion and passage of these out-of-agenda items. He praised the Mayor and the entire House for their positive and cooperative approach.

The decision to allot land for the Vishwakarma Community Hall has been welcomed with great joy by the Ramgarhia/Vishwakarma community. This long-pending demand of the past 20 years has finally been fulfilled due to the persistent efforts of MLA Kohli. Community members have expressed heartfelt gratitude towards him.
Kohli reiterated that both resolutions were brought outside the regular agenda, yet the Municipal Corporation discussed them thoroughly and passed them with complete consensus. He said these steps will directly benefit the people of Patiala and thanked the Mayor, all corporators, and officials for their support.
