Patiala, December 3: On the third day of filing nominations for the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections scheduled for December 14 in Patiala district, a total of 142 candidates submitted their papers today.
Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Damanjeet Singh Mann informed that:
- For Zila Parishad (23 zones): 37 nomination papers filed
- For Block Samitis (184 zones across 10 blocks): 105 nomination papers filed
