Jalandhar, November 30
The Punjab State Senior Badminton Championship 2024 commenced at the Raizada Hansraj Badminton Stadium in Jalandhar. The championship, organized by the District Badminton Association (DBA) Jalandhar, will conclude on December 2, 2024.

- Inauguration: The championship was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, Swapan Sharma.
- Honoring Badminton Legends: International players Manya Ralhan, Divyam Sachdeva, Mridul Jha, and Thomas Cup-winning coach S. Vijaydeep Singh were honored.
- Competitive Spirit: Over 200 players from across Punjab are participating in the event.
- Road to Nationals: The winners of this championship will represent Punjab at the National Badminton Championship in Bengaluru.
