Rana Gurjeet Raises Alarm Over Threat Emails to Sri Darbar Sahib Office, Calls for Robust Security Measures

Congress MLA Sardar Rana Gurjeet Singh, after paying obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib on July 19, 2025, voiced grave concern over threatening emails reportedly sent to the office of Sri Darbar Sahib during a media conference.
Highlighting the shrine’s significance, he stated that Sri Darbar Sahib is not only a sacred site for the Sikh community but also a universal emblem of peace, humanity, and spiritual inspiration. “This revered place resonates with millions worldwide, embodying the values of unity and harmony. Safeguarding it is our collective responsibility,” he remarked.
Rana Gurjeet Singh urged both the Central and Punjab governments to deploy state-of-the-art, technology-driven security systems around Sri Harmandir Sahib to counter potential threats and prevent mischievous activities. He stressed, “While Guru Sahib protects all, it is the government’s duty to ensure the safety of every devotee visiting this holy shrine. Those responsible for such malicious acts must face stringent legal action without delay.”
