Chief Minister Mann Formally Inducts Him into the Party

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to expand its base across Punjab, with prominent personalities from various fields joining its ranks, inspired by the policies and development initiatives of the Bhagwant Mann-led government. In a significant development, renowned wrestler Pritpal Singh Phagwara joined the party today in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. OSD Rajvir was also present on the occasion.
A celebrated name in the sports world, Pritpal Singh holds prestigious titles such as Rustum-e-Hind and Hind Kesari. His entry is expected to strengthen the party’s outreach in the sports community and enhance its presence in the Doaba region.

Welcoming him, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the increasing faith of youth and sportspersons in the party reflects Punjab’s steady progress towards positive change. He added that the inclusion of grassroots-level athletes like Pritpal Singh would further strengthen the party’s foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Pritpal Singh said that he was inspired by the Chief Minister’s leadership and vision of building a ‘Rangla Punjab’. He expressed his commitment to working wholeheartedly to promote sports among the youth and to take welfare initiatives to every household.
The Chief Minister also honored him with a siropa and wished him success in his political journey.
