In the second match of the three-match Little Champ Cup series, Springdales Cricket Academy (SCA) Jagadhri defeated hosts Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC) Patiala by 29 runs on Wednesday, leveling the series at 1-1.
SCA Jagadhri won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a competitive total of 213 for 8 in their allotted 40 overs. Savya led the batting with a stellar 81, supported by Abhinav (30) and Akshraj (23). In reply, BECC struggled from the start, losing wickets at regular intervals. Their opener Anmol faced 28 balls without scoring a single run. Despite a fighting 44 from Meet Randhawa and an unbeaten 20 from Subham, BECC managed only 184 for 6 in their 40 overs. Kevin chipped in with 13 runs. SCA’s bowlers, Lalit (1 for 10), Abhinka (1 for 19), and Ridam (1 for 22), kept the pressure on.
