Bhadson, November 15
An awareness program titled “Why and How to Save Electricity” was successfully organized at the School of Eminence, Bhadas, under the supervision of Principal Preetinder Ghai. The event was conducted by officials of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) in the school’s lecture hall.
Deputy Chief Engineer Salim Mohammad graced the occasion as the chief guest. The program was skillfully hosted by student Harmanpreet Kaur.
Key Address by Chief Guest
Speaking to the students, Salim Mohammad explained in detail:
“Industrial consumers are far more aware of electricity conservation than domestic users because they purchase power at higher rates. This makes them value energy more.”
He also highlighted lucrative career opportunities in various technical and administrative fields within the Powercom Department.
