Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has extended his congratulations to 10 Punjabis who emerged victorious in the UK general elections. He noted that this significant win will amplify the voice of Sikhs and Punjabis in the House of Commons.
In a press statement, Sandhwan felicitated Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and others on their historic victory, calling it a milestone for the Punjabi community. For the first time, 10 Sikhs and Punjabis, including 5 women, have been elected to the British Parliament, a remarkable achievement.
