The Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will adopt a hybrid format, with matches hosted in India and Sri Lanka, while Pakistan will play at a neutral venue. Below is the full schedule.
The ICC Women’s ODI Cricket World Cup 2025 kicks off on September 30 with co-hosts India and Sri Lanka clashing in the opening match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The much-awaited India vs. Pakistan encounter is scheduled for October 5.
Defending champions Australia will begin their title defense against Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand on October 1, while last tournament’s runner-up England will face South Africa on October 3. The final is set for November 2, either in Bengaluru or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification. If Pakistan reaches the final, it will be held in Colombo; otherwise, Bengaluru will host.

The 13th edition of the 50-over tournament will feature eight teams competing in a round-robin format, with each team playing once. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. The highest-ranked team will meet the fourth-placed side in the first semi-final, while the second and third-placed teams will contest the other. If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-final, their match will be in Colombo on October 29; otherwise, Guwahati will host the first semi-final.
Australia, with seven titles, is the most successful team, followed by England with five and New Zealand with one.

The tournament will utilize five venues across India and Sri Lanka:
- M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
- Assam Cricket Association Stadium, Guwahati
- Holkar Stadium, Indore
- ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam
- R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (including all Pakistan matches)
