20147 nominations withdrawal by candidates for Sarpanches & 31381 nominations withdrawal by candidates for Panches
Chandigarh, October 10
An official spokesperson of the Punjab State Election Commission said that a total nominations withdrawal by candidates for Sarpanches are 20,147 and total nominations withdrawal by candidates for Panches are 31381 as on 07 October 2024 for Gram Panchayat Elections.

He further informed that total nominations after withdrawal for Sarpanches are 25588 and total nominations after withdrawal for Panches are 80598 as per the report received from Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers. Besides this, total unopposed candidates for Sarpanches are 3798 and total unopposed candidates for Panches are 48861.
