3,381 ETT Teachers to Receive Job Letters Soon: CM Mann Boosts Employment Opportunities

In a significant move aimed at strengthening the education sector and creating more job opportunities for the youth, the Punjab government , led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann , is set to issue regular appointment letters to 3,381 Elementary Teachers (ETT) in the state.
This decision was finalized during a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister at his official residence.
Completion of Recruitment Process
During a review meeting of the Education Department held today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed immense pride over the successful completion of the recruitment process for 3,381 ETT teachers . He highlighted that the process was carried out in two phases, with 951 and 2,430 teachers being recruited respectively. The Chief Minister announced that these teachers would soon be handed their appointment letters, marking a new chapter in their careers and the state’s education system.
Record Job Creation Under CM’s Leadership
Chief Minister Mann emphasized that this initiative is part of the government’s broader commitment to generating employment opportunities for the youth. He proudly stated that, for the first time in the history of Punjab, any government has provided a record 50,892 jobs to the youth within just 35 months of coming to power.
Out of these, over 11,000 jobs have been created in the Education Department , reflecting the state government’s focus on improving educational infrastructure and quality.

CM Mann highlighted that the state government is prioritizing the development of key sectors such as health, education, power, employment, and infrastructure . A comprehensive plan has been formulated to ensure these critical areas receive significant attention and resources, driving socio-economic progress in the state.
He envisioned that the induction of these teachers would not only strengthen the education sector by enhancing the quality of teaching in schools but also empower the youth by making them active contributors to the state’s growth story.
