Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated today that the education revolution initiative launched by his government to revitalize the education sector has once again positioned Punjab as a leading state, with its youth scripting new chapters of success. Speaking at an event honoring 44 students from government schools who cleared the JEE Advanced examination, the Chief Minister highlighted the exceptional zeal among Punjab’s students to succeed. He noted that the education revolution has provided the necessary support for youth to excel across various fields.
CM Mann emphasized that the primary goal of this initiative is to establish Punjab as a leader in education. He expressed pride and satisfaction in the remarkable outcomes, pointing out that students are proving their capabilities in diverse areas. He assured that the state will continue implementing educational reforms to empower its youth further.
The Chief Minister predicted that Punjab is on its way to becoming a tech hub due to the government’s relentless efforts. He envisioned a future where top-tier technology companies will queue up to recruit Punjab’s youth, transforming the state into a center for innovation, technological advancement, and economic growth.

Praising the students’ determination, CM Mann lauded their ability to overcome significant challenges to achieve success. He cited former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as an inspiration, who passed the exam through hard work and became a role model for the younger generation. Mann also shed light on ongoing efforts to develop Punjab as a hub for medical education, with new medical colleges and hospitals being established to benefit the public and provide quality education to medical students.
He announced the setup of eight UPSC coaching centers across Punjab to train students for competitive exams, each equipped with libraries, hostels, and other essential facilities to ensure quality coaching. CM Mann stressed that these centers will help Punjab’s youth secure top ranks in national exams. Encouraging students to stay grounded, he urged them to be “grassrooters” rather than “parachuters,” explaining that those who rise from the ground are better prepared to conquer challenges and reach great heights.
Comparing the government’s role to an airport runway, he said it facilitates a smooth takeoff for the youth to realize their dreams, with every effort being made to support their aspirations without compromise. He advised students to remain humble despite their achievements, emphasizing that confidence and hard work, paired with humility, are the keys to continuous success.

Earlier, Education Minister Harjot Bains welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries, congratulating the students for passing the exam despite significant challenges. He noted that 260 students from government schools had previously cleared the JEE Mains, reflecting the consistent success of the government’s educational initiatives.
