Around 25 Professional Teams from Punjab to Compete

The 76th Senior Punjab State Men’s Football Championship is set to commence on August 27 at the Punjabi University Football Ground, fondly known as the ‘Mecca of Punjab Football.’ Organized by the District Football Association under the chairmanship of Dr. Dalbir Singh Randhawa, Senior Coach at Punjabi University, the three-day event will feature 25 professional senior men’s football teams from across Punjab.

Dr. Randhawa shared with the media that the championship will be inaugurated on the first day by Darshan Singh Maan, Former SSP, Punjab Police, who will grace the occasion and bless the competitors. On the final day, Gurlal Singh Ghanaur, MLA, will attend to distribute prizes to the winning teams.
