Dr. Kumar expressed optimism that the study’s findings will contribute to modernizing India’s higher education system by integrating digital tools and widely used social media platforms in a credible, evidence-based manner. The project will involve approximately 900 academicians from public universities across northern India, employing large-scale data collection and analysis through a multi-stage sampling approach. The research will investigate social media’s role as a strategic tool for academic outreach, professional development, and collaboration among Indian academicians, while also exploring how its effective use can enhance academic performance.
Punjabi University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh congratulated Dr. Satinder Kumar on securing the project, noting that such accomplishments reflect the exceptional research capabilities and dedication of the university’s faculty.
