On the 79th Independence Day, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jai Shankar Singh addressed the RGNUL community from the University’s Academic Block, quoting, “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” In his speech, he honored the sacrifices of martyrs who fought for India’s independence.
Prof. Singh reaffirmed his commitment to transforming RGNUL into a symbol of intellectual empowerment. He highlighted ongoing intellectual and logistical reforms aimed at enhancing the welfare of students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. Emphasizing personal growth, he urged the RGNUL community to embrace positive intellectual affirmations to uphold the university’s motto, “Knowledge empowers,” and elevate RGNUL as a leading institution.
