Celebrating New Beginnings in the Social Security Department

Urges Them to Serve with Dedication

Chandigarh, August 21

Punjab’s Minister for Social Security, Women, and Child Development, Dr. Baljit Kaur, today handed over appointment letters to two newly appointed clerks under the compassionate appointment policy in the Social Security, Women, and Child Development Department at Punjab Bhawan.

Dr. Baljit Kaur explained that compassionate appointments aim to provide financial relief to families facing hardships due to the sudden loss of their primary earner. She highlighted that these appointments not only offer hope to affected families but also demonstrate the Punjab Government’s compassionate and humane approach.

During the event, Dr. Kaur emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering youth through new job opportunities. She encouraged the new employees to carry out their responsibilities with honesty and dedication, serving the public with a sense of commitment.
