Baljinder Dhillon: A New Era for Punjab Agro Foodgrains

-Aman Arora Congratulates New Chairman, Urges Dedication to CM Mann’s Vision for ‘Rangla Punjab’

Chandigarh, September 12

In a key development for Punjab’s agricultural landscape, Baljinder Dhillon officially assumed the role of Chairman of Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation Ltd. today, in the presence of Cabinet Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President, Aman Arora.

Congratulating Dhillon on his new role, Arora expressed optimism that under his leadership, the Corporation would drive economic growth, create opportunities for the youth, and bolster Punjab’s agriculture sector, the state’s economic backbone. He urged the new Chairman to work tirelessly towards realizing Chief Minister  Bhagwant Mann’s vision of a vibrant ‘Rangla Punjab’.

Expressing gratitude to CM Mann and AAP National Convener. Arvind Kejriwal, Dhillon shared a forward-looking roadmap emphasizing farmer prosperity, sustainable practices, and positioning Punjab as a national leader in food processing. He highlighted that the Corporation’s primary goal is to serve the “Annadaata” by bridging the farm-to-fork gap, promoting crop diversification, adopting advanced technologies, and developing robust food processing infrastructure to ensure better returns for Punjab’s farmers.

The event was attended by MLA Samana Chetan Singh Jauramajra, MLA Patiala  Ajit Pal Singh Kohli, MLA Shutrana . Kulwant Singh Bazigar, Chairman Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board Dr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia, Chairman Punjab State Farmers’ and Farm Workers’ Commission Dr. Sukhpal Singh, and other senior government officials.
