Newly appointed Halka Chairmen of various Welfare Boards, recently nominated by the Punjab Government, today visited the revered Shri Kali Devi Mata Temple in Patiala to seek the blessings of Mata Rani. The visit took place in the presence of Tejinder Mehta, District President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Patiala, and Chairman of the District Planning Committee.
Those who paid obeisance included Vikram Sharma, Halka Chairman, Brahmin Samaj Welfare Board; Badal Bambi, Halka Chairman, Vimukt Jati Welfare Board; John Masih, Halka Chairman, Christian Welfare Board; Mandeep Johlan, Halka Chairman, Scheduled Welfare Board; Bablu Saini, Halka Chairman, Saini Welfare Board; Kirpal Singh, Halka Chairman, Kamboj Welfare Board; Ramanpreet Singh Shammi, Halka Chairman, Khatri Welfare Board; Daljit Singh Rajput, Halka Chairman, Rajput Welfare Board; Kuldeep Singh Ablowal, Halka Chairman, Bazigar Welfare Board; and Davinder Singh Mattu, Halka Chairman, SC Welfare Board.
Congratulating the newly appointed Chairmen, Tejinder Mehta said the Punjab Government has entrusted them with the responsibility of strengthening the representation of diverse communities and ensuring that welfare schemes effectively reach people at the grassroots level. He expressed confidence that they would carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, and a strong commitment to public service while working for the welfare of every section of society.
The newly appointed Chairmen also prayed for the peace, prosperity, and overall development of Punjab. They expressed confidence in Tejinder Mehta’s leadership and organisational approach, stating that they would work with full dedication under his guidance to ensure that the Punjab Government’s welfare policies and development initiatives benefit every section of the constituency.
Tejinder Mehta extended his best wishes to all the Chairmen for a successful tenure and expressed hope that they would play a vital role in effectively implementing and promoting the Punjab Government’s people-centric policies and welfare programmes across society.
