Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is all set to make his television hosting debut by taking over as the host of the popular crime show Crime Patrol. Devgn will replace longtime host Anup Soni, marking a major change for the long-running series.
Ajay Devgn steps in as the new host
The makers have released the first promo featuring Ajay Devgn, offering viewers a glimpse of his new role. In the promo, Devgn discusses the changing crime landscape and highlights how, in many cases, the person responsible for a crime may be someone known to the victim.
The actor concludes the promo with the line, “Main rahunga aapke saath,” setting the tone for the upcoming season, which is scheduled to premiere on August 31.
According to a source cited by IANS, Devgn has already shot 15 episodes of the show. His continuation as host for the remaining episodes will reportedly depend on audience response and the show’s TRP performance.
