The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its candidates for the four Punjab Assembly seats that fell vacant after four of its MLAs were elected to the Lok Sabha. The Election Commission had earlier announced by-elections for these seats, including Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal (Reserved), and Barnala.
The party has nominated Harinder Singh Dhaliwal, a close associate of MP Meet Hayer, from Barnala; Gurdeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon from Gidderbaha; Gurdeep Singh Randhawa from Dera Baba Nanak; and Ishan Chabbewal from the reserved Chabbewal constituency.
