In the final stages of counting for the Punjab by-elections across four constituencies—Barnala, Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, and Chabbewal—AAP candidate Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon secured a resounding victory from Gidderbaha, defeating Congress candidate Amrita Warring by a margin of 21,969 votes.

- Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon (AAP): 71,644 votes
- Amrita Warring (Congress): 49,675 votes
