AAP Leadership Celebrates Victory
Following the election, Punjab AAP President Aman Arora addressed a press conference in Bathinda, accompanied by Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA Rajneesh Dahiya, AAP Co-President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, and party leaders Neel Garg and Shaminder Khinda.
Arora extended his congratulations to the people of Bathinda, local party leaders, and workers for this significant win. He also expressed gratitude to the councillors who supported AAP’s candidate, stating that they prioritized city development over party politics by electing an AAP mayor.
AAP’s Growing Influence in Punjab’s Urban Governance
Arora highlighted AAP’s dominant performance in the recently concluded municipal elections, where the party won over 55% of the seats, while Congress secured only 19%. He emphasized that so far, AAP mayors, presidents, and chairpersons have been elected in 35 places across Punjab, including Patiala, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Phagwara.
