Patiala, May 31 (Sports Desk)

The Wrestling Federation of India organized the Sub-Junior Under-17 Boys’ Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship from May 25 to May 27, 2025, in Palwal, Haryana. Representing Punjab, Arman Singh clinched a silver medal in the 80 kg weight category, showcasing his prowess in the sport.

Arman has been excelling in wrestling from a young age. His previous achievements include a bronze medal at the Under-15 National Championship and two gold medals at the Khedan Watan Punjab tournament.

Arman’s father, Punjabi singer Jatinder Jeetu, shared that Arman trains at the Rustam-e-Hind Kesar Singh Akhara in Patiala under the guidance of coaches Saraj Bhullar and Gurmel Singh. Olympian wrestler and current Superintendent of Police Palwinder Singh Cheema expressed high expectations for Arman’s future, predicting a bright career ahead.
