In a landmark moment for sports administration, Ashutosh Bhalla , President of the Uttar Pradesh Athletic Association and Meerut District Athletic Association, was re-elected as the Vice President of the Indian Athletic Federation (IAF) during the IAF’s Special General Council meeting held in Goa. This marks his second consecutive term, having previously served from 2021 to 2024. His new term will extend until 2029.

  2. Coach Registration System : Mandatory registration of all coaches with the Uttar Pradesh Athletic Association to ensure standardized training.
  3. Digital Transformation :
    • Online Entry System for athletes to streamline participation in events.
    • Digital Certificates to replace physical documentation, enhancing transparency.
  4. Tackling Age Fraud and Doping : Stringent measures to address eligibility issues and anti-doping violations, ensuring fair play.
