The defending champions, Australia, have unveiled their squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Led by Alyssa Healy, the team boasts a formidable lineup of players.
There are three changes to the squad that won the title in South Africa last year. Heather Graham, Jess Jonassen, and Meg Lanning have been replaced by Tayla Vlaeminck, Phoebe Litchfield, and Sophie Molineux.

Vlaeminck adds another seam bowling option to the already strong pace attack, while Molineux strengthens the spin department. Litchfield brings additional batting depth and could potentially open the innings.
Selector Shawn Flegler expressed confidence in the squad’s balance and preparation for the tournament. He highlighted Alyssa Healy and Tahlia McGrath’s leadership qualities and praised Phoebe Litchfield’s potential.
Australia is drawn in Group A alongside India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
