Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai has been named the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, capping off an exceptional year with both bat and ball.
The 24-year-old emerged as a key player for Afghanistan, contributing significantly to their impressive ODI performances throughout 2024. He finished the year as his team’s second-highest run-scorer and second-highest wicket-taker, playing a crucial role in their four series victories.
