Bangladesh has announced a 16-player squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against India. The only change from the team that defeated Pakistan 2-0 recently is the inclusion of uncapped batter Jaker Ali Anik, who replaces the injured pacer Shoriful Islam.
Anik, a 26-year-old right-handed batter, has earned his maiden Test call-up after impressing with a century for Bangladesh A against Pakistan A. He has also represented Bangladesh in 17 T20I matches, including four at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year.

The two-match Test series will take place in Chennai (September 19-23) and Kanpur (September 27-October 1).
