Big Breaking News: Imran Khan Sentenced to 14 Years, Bushra Bibi to 7 Years

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were on Friday convicted in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust corruption case. The court sentenced Imran Khan to 14 years imprisonment and his wife to seven years.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana delivered the verdict in a makeshift court in Adiala Jail, after which Bushra was arrested from the courtroom. The couple was convicted in the case shortly after the general elections on February 27, 2024.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail before the hearing, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said, “You can imagine how much injustice has been done in the last two years.” If a fair decision is made, Imran and Bushra will be acquitted,” he added.
