Burj Khalifa Lights Up as Affordable Tickets Announced for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

The ICC has unveiled affordable match tickets for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, starting at just five dirhams. Children under 18 can attend matches for free. This initiative aims to create a lasting legacy for the tournament, which is being hosted in the UAE.
To mark the announcement, a spectacular laser show was held on the iconic Burj Khalifa.
ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice expressed his excitement about the tournament, emphasizing the UAE’s diversity and the potential for it to be a “home World Cup” for all 10 participating teams. He highlighted the affordable ticket prices and free admission for children as a way to encourage widespread attendance.

The tournament will feature 20 league matches across Dubai and Sharjah, with the final set for October 20. Teams will also compete in warm-up matches before the main event.
