Inaugurates School of Eminence in Chaajli Village
Envisions Schools Shaping Students’ Futures
Chaajli (Sangrur), April 15
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann vowed to serve Punjab and its people with unwavering effort to ensure the state’s all-around development. Speaking at the inauguration of a new School of Eminence in Chaajli, he highlighted the state government’s commitment to unprecedented progress in education, health, power, employment, and other sectors over the past three years, driven by dedication and integrity.
Mann criticized past governments for neglecting public welfare, alleging they mismanaged the state and ignored education. He noted that previously, government schools were reduced to mere midday meal centers, while the elite sent their children to private institutions. In contrast, his administration prioritizes quality education through Schools of Eminence, designed to nurture students’ talents and prepare them for future challenges.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these schools aim to transform students’ destinies, particularly for those from underprivileged backgrounds, fulfilling the vision of leaders like Dr. BR Ambedkar. Equipped with modern technology, these institutions mark a revolution in Punjab’s education system, positioning the state to become a national leader.
Mann also celebrated the appointment of a Finance Minister from a marginalized community, a historic shift from the dominance of affluent leaders. He accused former regimes of fostering corruption and mafias, plundering Punjab’s wealth, and betraying its people.
Urging girls to embrace education and empowerment, Mann noted their growing success in fields once dominated by men, stressing its importance for an equitable society. He congratulated parents, teachers, and students on the school’s inauguration, reflecting on his personal connection to the area where he was elected MP.
