CM Presents Rs 1 Crore Insurance Cheque to Family of Martyred Home Guard Jawan Jaspal Singh

–Reaffirms State Government’s Commitment to the Welfare of Martyrs’ Families
Chandigarh, August 3
On Saturday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann presented a cheque worth Rs 1 crore as an insurance cover to the family of Home Guard Jawan Jaspal Singh, who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.
While handing over the cheque, the Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the family and emphasized the state government’s commitment to their welfare. He noted that Jaspal Singh’s son has already been recruited as a constable in the police force. Jaspal Singh had tragically lost his life while on duty in Sultanpur Lodhi. The insurance payment of Rs 1 crore was provided by the state government through HDFC Bank, in addition to Rs 1 crore already given as financial assistance to the family. Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted that this gesture recognizes Jaspal Singh’s significant contributions to maintaining law and order in the state.
