Chandigarh/Barnala, September 20
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a significant boost in Barnala with the joining of Congress leader and Barnala Municipal Committee President Gurjit Singh Ramanvasia and social worker Kulwant Singh.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed the leaders to the party in the presence of Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. The Barnala assembly seat is vacant following Hayer’s election to Parliament.
Ramanvasia and Kulwant Singh, along with their supporters, were drawn to AAP due to the party’s performance in Punjab. They expressed admiration for CM Mann’s efforts to improve the state.
CM Mann stated that AAP is open to all pro-people and pro-Punjab leaders. He highlighted the party’s growing membership and its commitment to making Punjab prosperous.
