Star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who played a pivotal role in leading Chennai Super Kings to four IPL titles, has announced his retirement from T20 cricket.
Veteran player shared an emotional post on Instagram, informing his fans about his decision. Bravo holds the record for the most wickets taken for CSK. While the 40-year-old had previously retired from international cricket and the IPL, he has now decided to completely bid farewell to T20 cricket.
Through social media, Bravo revealed that he will be playing his final professional T20 tournament in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024. He is part of the Trinbago Knight Riders team in CPL 2024 and made this surprising announcement after the opening match of the tournament. Bravo is considered one of the greatest T20 players in the world. Apart from his cricket skills, he has also won the hearts of fans with his singing and dancing abilities.

The West Indian star shared an emotional video on social media, captioning it, “It’s been an amazing journey. Today, I’m announcing my retirement from the CPL. This will be my last season and I’m excited to play my final professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. It all started with the Trinbago Knight Riders and it will end with them.”
