District Cricket Association (DCA) Moga defeated Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC), Patiala, by 100 runs to clinch the Sunday League Tournament title at the host ground.
BECC won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, DCA Moga posted 189/3 in 25 overs, setting BECC a challenging target of 190 runs.
Nischay led the batting effort with an impressive 84 runs, while Mankirat Taji contributed a valuable 64. Samkul remained unbeaten on 20, and Sukraj added 13 runs.
For BECC, Guralfaz Singh took 1/24, while Aditya Rawat claimed 1/29.
BECC Patiala Bowled Out for 89/9
Chasing 190, BECC Patiala managed 89/9 in their allotted 25 overs, handing DCA Moga a comprehensive 100-run victory.
Vikram top-scored for BECC with 28 runs, followed by Warriesh with 14 and Guralfaz Singh with 14.
DCA Moga’s bowling attack was led by Gurjot, who took an impressive 3/15. Simkul claimed 2/11, while Vedansh picked up 1/11.
