Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) campaign in Delhi to new heights on Tuesday, leading a series of high-energy events to rally support for AAP candidates. Capturing the mood of the capital, Mann declared, “Poori Delhi se ek hi awaaz aa rahi hai – iss baar phir layenge Kejriwal,” a slogan that echoed through his campaign trail.
Mann kicked off the day with a massive roadshow in the Vishwas Nagar constituency, drumming up support for AAP candidate Deepak Singhal. Addressing a spirited crowd, he highlighted the transformative work of the Kejriwal-led government in Delhi, emphasizing AAP’s focus on development, education, healthcare, and corruption-free governance. “The people of Delhi have witnessed the change brought by Arvind Kejriwal. They will once again choose AAP’s clean and progressive leadership,” he asserted.
At a Jansabha in the Jangpura constituency, Mann threw his weight behind former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is contesting from the seat. Praising Sisodia’s pivotal role in Delhi’s education revolution, Mann said, “Manish Sisodia is a symbol of hope and transformation. His dedication to public service is unmatched, and the people of Jangpura will stand firmly with him.”
Mann didn’t hold back in his criticism of the BJP, accusing the party of repeatedly trying to dismantle the Kejriwal-Sisodia duo, which he credited with driving Delhi’s education revolution. “The BJP first tried to break Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia’s partnership. They jailed Satyendar Jain, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Arvind Kejriwal because they were working for the people of Delhi,” he said.
He added that the BJP underestimated AAP’s resilience and the public’s support. “They thought jailing a few leaders would weaken AAP. But today, the people of Delhi are standing with Kejriwal more united than ever. The BJP is shocked by the massive crowds and unwavering support AAP continues to receive,” Mann remarked.
Highlighting AAP’s governance model, Mann pointed to Punjab as a shining example of people-centric policies. “In Punjab, 90% of households receive zero electricity bills. We have provided jobs to 50,000 youth and delivered on our promises because our intentions are clear. Arvind Kejriwal is a man of integrity, and we are here to serve, not to turn politics into a business,” he said.
Contrasting AAP’s achievements with BJP’s divisive politics, Mann stated, “While the BJP thrives on hate and abuses, we focus on building hospitals and schools. Punjab’s government schools have achieved historic milestones under our School of Eminence program, with 158 students clearing the IIT entrance exam this year. We even sent teachers to Finland and Singapore for training. This is the difference between us and them.”

Mann also questioned the BJP’s lack of accomplishments in Delhi despite being in power at the Centre for 11 years and controlling the MCD until 2023. “Modi ji’s government has been in Delhi for 11 years. What have they achieved? They have no work to show and resort to religion-based politics instead,” he said.
Taking a dig at BJP’s election tactics, Mann quipped, “While the BJP brings people to rallies on daily wages, Arvind Kejriwal lives in the hearts of Delhi’s citizens. Under his leadership, this ‘jhadoo’ (AAP’s election symbol) will sweep across the nation and clean up the dirt in politics.”
He also criticized the BJP’s hypocrisy, saying, “They accused Kejriwal of distributing freebies, but in their manifesto, they have promised ₹2,500 for women. When Kejriwal does it, it’s called ‘revdi,’ but what about BJP’s 25 lakh ‘papad’? The people of Delhi know that only Kejriwal fulfills his guarantees.”

Mann emphasized AAP’s proven governance model, which prioritizes education, healthcare, and welfare schemes, while criticizing the BJP for its divisive politics and failure to address pressing issues. “The BJP talks big but delivers little. The people of Delhi are too smart to fall for their propaganda,” he asserted.
Expressing confidence in AAP’s victory across all constituencies, Mann said, “The people trust AAP because we deliver on our promises. Delhi will once again choose Arvind Kejriwal and AAP to lead them into a brighter future.”
He urged Delhiites to vote wisely and support AAP candidates to ensure continued progress and development. “The people of Delhi have the power to shape their future. We appeal to them to vote for leaders who prioritize their well-being above all else,” he concluded.
CM Mann Raises Issue of Contaminated Water
Earlier in the day, CM Mann accompanied Delhi Chief Minister Atishi during a meeting with the Election Commission to address the critical issue of polluted water entering the Yamuna from Haryana. Mann highlighted the high ammonia levels in the water and its impact on Delhi’s residents. “This is not just about pollution; it’s about the health and safety of the people. We have urged the Election Commission to take this issue seriously, and they have assured us that they will raise it with the Haryana government,” Mann stated.
With immense public support and an unwavering commitment to Delhi’s welfare, Bhagwant Mann’s campaign has set the stage for AAP’s strong performance in the upcoming elections.
