Deputy Commissioner Reviews Preparations for Republic Day Celebrations
Patiala, January 22
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav held a meeting with officials to review the preparations for the district-level Republic Day celebrations to be held at Raja Bhhalinder Singh Sports Complex (Polo Ground) on January 26th.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Punjab’s Water Resources, Mining, Geology, and Land and Water Conservation Minister, Mr. Brinder Kumar Goyal, will be the chief guest and will hoist the national flag.

Dr. Yadav reviewed the progress made by various committees formed for different aspects of the event. She emphasized the need for timely completion of all preparations and directed officials to ensure that no stone is left unturned.
The Deputy Commissioner also inquired about the arrangements for security, cultural programs, and the parade by police, ITBP, Home Guards, NCC cadets, Red Cross, and Scouts. She directed all officials to be present at the venue on the day of the event.

Dr. Yadav appealed to the people of Patiala to participate enthusiastically in the Republic Day celebrations.
