The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced a revised schedule for the Special Summary Revision of the electoral roll for the bye-election in the 64-Ludhiana West constituency.

Providing details, Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C stated that the revision process, with April 1, 2025, as the qualifying date, will follow the timeline outlined below:
- Rationalization of Polling Stations: By April 4, 2025 (Friday)
- Publication of Integrated Draft Electoral Roll: April 9, 2025 (Wednesday)
- Period for Filing Claims and Objections: April 9, 2025 (Wednesday) to April 24, 2025 (Thursday)
- Disposal of Claims and Objections: By May 2, 2025 (Friday)
- Final Publication of Electoral Roll: May 5, 2025 (Monday)
CEO Sibin C added that a letter informing all recognized political parties in the state about the Special Summary Revision for Ludhiana West has been issued.
