Goswami, a legendary fast bowler, retired in 2022 after a remarkable 20-year career. She holds the record for the most wickets in women’s ODIs. Post-retirement, she has been actively involved in mentoring young cricketers and contributing to the growth of women’s cricket in India.

Joining Goswami in the esteemed company of cricket legends, Eden Gardens already boasts stands named after Sourav Ganguly, Pankaj Roy, Jagmohan Dalmiya, and Biswanath Dutt.
