Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced that all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, will resume operations from Monday, May 12, 2025.
The Minister clarified that universities with revised examination schedules will follow those plans. Additionally, Deputy Commissioners in border districts are empowered to make decisions on school operations based on local conditions.

Bains emphasized strict compliance with government-issued safety protocols for all institutions. He underscored the Punjab Government’s commitment to educational continuity and student welfare, stating that the reopening aims to restore normalcy and minimize disruptions.
